Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Just curious…

Were any Directors (or higher ups) let go during this latest round of layoffs?

Not enough. What a fat pig the company's become, each director begging for the teet their vp let's go of occasionally...

TIS has a few directors whose roles are unclear to the rest of the organization. It is surprising that none of them were on the list. Lesson learned from TIS - having skills, working hard, and being smart is not a requirement. You just need to play corporate politics and get on the favorite list.

I might have heard of one Director in TIS few years ago that was sort of “pushed out” but with Enbridge politics anything is possible.

It is not entirely unusual for a Director to be let go. Years ago I know they let go of one Director in Supply Chain.

From everything I know, that Director at GDS was let go and it was not voluntary.

Do you really honestly believe they would let anyone of that level go?
If anything they would have been given the option to retire.
But oh no there was no VWO.

A Director at GDS was let go before the big day. Not sure if it was part of the overall plan or not.

Good for them. Well planned. Did the same thing.

A few weeks ago, in another post, someone had mentioned that a director had been walked out. No idea from what group or if true. Maybe someone else can comment…

There was suspicion amounts of retirements in the higher ups. So I’m assuming yes but they get to “retire” instead of being let go.
