In the last few years Nike has been quietly replacing tenured FTEs at WHQ and Global with outsourced non-FTE cheap labor from India, China, etc. Cheaper isn't always better! The outsourced labor are usually college kids looking for their next resume, not caring for quality nor accuracy, just quantity. The Flex partners provide false hopes that these are senior experts nickel and diming, stringing Nike along taking two to three times as long to accomplish the level of work effort once done by FTEs. What happened to supporting the local Oregon economy? That beautiful campus can't be filled with non-existent bodies that physically sit in other countries taking tax breaks that should have been filled with FTEs. The Maxims that they brainwash you with, to swear and live by? The dream was a lie.

OP, don’t you want to include EHQ, Poland etc.,
Nike wastes huge amounts of money, resources on offshore teams' and cleaning up their mistakes, it's ridiculous. Why not start there by cutting out the Flex partners? Invest in FTEs. What a joke. Accenture and others have messed up so many projects. Yet, Accenture is allowed to charge more again and again to re-engineer their mistakes they made from the start. That's embarrassing costing millions over years. I guess that's where Nike is willing to invest. In other countries instead of making America great again.
The only maxim I can remember (or care to) is "don't climb on the maxims"
Damn, the grammar and spelling mistakes in the OP and in the comments are embarrassing. And y’all work at NIKE? No wonder we’re hiring teams offshore… they write better than you clowns.
Nike and a majority of big corporate across America are hiring offshore teams. I don’t believe you will ever see light at the end of that tunnel.
Thé offshore vendors are a total scam. Nike is getting hosed and flushing money left and right on whole teams of people whose only motivation is putting more bodies in seats and su-king Nike dry of as much cash as they can get. Wake up Nike!!!! Quality is completely non-existant, and is having a snowball effect all over the place. Know your s@@@, own your s@@@, and anybody not working for the long term best interests of the company needs to go. Is a joke. Is teams of 20-30-40-50 people that could be handled by 1-2 knowledgeable people and a little backing from management to clear roadblocks. Offshore gotta go, they don’t do anything - support teams are completely useless. If get a decent developer they are gone before any ROI is achieved. We want to clean up the mess? If so, then WE (the employees, the full time employees), gotta own it, document it, maintain it, and think beyond the end of ‘this’ project and leave stuff behinf for those that follow
We’re wasting so much money hiring 10 cheap unqualified contractors instead of 1 or 2 good hires.
Sr Directors care about empires not outcomes. HR cares about the shape of our budget not outcomes. ELT cares about next quarter not next year.
