Good luck reserving those spots

I'm incredibly frustrated with the blatant double standards in this updated hybrid working policy. It's clear that the higher-ups don't adhere to the requirement of six days a month in the office. Most of my team is classified as fully remote and they're based in the US. If the purpose of office days is for collaboration, what's the point of me going in when I end up sitting alone and not interacting with anyone? I could just as easily do that from home. On top of that, we're threatened with the loss of bonuses or raises (which are rare anyway) if we don't comply with the six-day requirement. This policy is dictatorial and narcissistic—it's a complete farce!
Anyone work from QVS? The office space is limited and busy...
Our team has been decimated by people bringing in the cold/cough - over 70% are off this week alone and we are badly stretched missing SLAs and client meetings becoming ever more painful, all for what, so we can sit beside one another (??)
The only reasons I can think of why SS&C want any of us in the office more than 6 times a month (frustration on justifying rental costs, lack of trustm, lack of digital communication skills, fear of devaluation) its why the best companies in the world all favour remote working mixed with in-office working.
People are responsible adults at home, why do we then transform them into adolescents without freedome once they are in the workplace.
Move with the time and keep up SS&C or continually get dragged behind (that means poor growth, shareholder return and disappointed employees)
Don’t forget about the bed bugs too
Not to mention everyone in the building has been sick. Sure let’s create a giant germ fest.
Still at that sh!thole su-kers.....LOL
Those super collaborative ppl could come into office every day, there is no max limit on number of days you can book. They can even book weekends, yay collaboration!
