This smells fishy. Why would SAP already release and blast out numbers for UK? Is this part of some UK-specific laws?

What do you mean: "how does GFA continue to escape" ?

In the layoffs of 2023, Dominik Asam, took out a number of people in GFA in Newtown Square. They were impacted pretty good and that was done when he was barely with the company for a couple of months.

Now he has even more time under his belt and you can bet he will once again take out even more GFA HC in Newtown square. If he deems some functions as necessary he will shift these to Buenos Aires or Prague or otherwise get his overstaffed team in WDF to handle these tasks. Unlike Luka or Werner he has no favorites in NSQ, as we saw in 2023.

How is this the case if numbers are not supposed to be finalized until April?

All UK employees received a mail from HR with the numbers per Board area

How does GFA continue to escape? They are not revenue generating! I thought all their jobs were in Prague?

there is 75% hit in UK from customer success.

Given UK is still 2nd or 3rd biggest market it defies logic. But in Europe UK is easy as laws are lax and more like US. That is why UK was hit last year disproportionally.

Europe South/North is a target. Duplication of roles etc.

Customer success is costly. SAP is replying on partners to sell for them. Unfortunatley SAP canned so many people in europe last year that we can't support the partners grow with SAP, let alone rise.

This fake news !! I was a CSP in UK, (Customer Success Partner) and still in very close contact with the folks there.... nothing was announced to them.

In any case, SAP will globally coordinate the layoffs simultaneous, at most they might be 24 hours apart due to time zone, but otherwise, we will all know once they start informing.

Customer Success in the UK is the target or Customer Success Globally is the target?

Across the board the number seems very high. Will be intresting to see how other countries are impacted.

With acquisitions it's closer to 300 in the uk.
