- 4% inflation rate in 2023 but somehow we should be glad for a 1% salary raise?

Shut up, peasants, and be happy with your measly 1% raises. Inflation is for little people. Don't forget that by working remotely, you are not innovating enough. You are not being nimble enough. So go back to your SS&C potato fields and dig for more potatoes. The lords and kings at the top of the food chain thank you for all of the hard work that you peasants foolishly waste on this god-forsaken place.
It’s a pay for performance culture. If you get a Meets Expectation, that means you did everything asked of you. I agree that 1.5% is low and that’s unfortunate, but had you earned an Exceeds Expectation or Consistently Exceeds Expectation, it would be have been considerably higher. Let’s not forget that almost all associates received RSU this year, far more associates then in years past. I agree that compensation could be better, but let’s be hopeful that revenue targets are met and we’ll receive a merit pool more in line with inflation.
Think positive, continue to work hard and better days will come!
SS&C Technologies Holdings' CEO is Bill Stone, appointed in Jan 1986, has a tenure of 38.17 years. total yearly compensation is $12.81M, comprised of 6.8% salary and 93.2% bonuses, including company stock and options. directly owns 12.93% of the company's shares, worth $2.06B.
Bill and Rahul dont go into the office much, yet they expect us to all take the subway and make it happen - the workforce is being alienated. Get in the office and do all the talks from there going forward, set an example.
Such BS. I did above and beyond for my benchmark. Good performer. But somehow I am only get 1.5 percent. meanwhile exceeds get 3 percent. Doesnt make sense or cover cost of living spikes.
LMFAO you f-kin dummy's are still there..
Bill needs the extra cash to buy back stock, and drunkenly yell at 8AM in the morning to you about going back into the office daily (after reducing so much office space) while "working" from one of his homes.
Honestly I'm surprised you got a raise, as the last 2 years have been nil.
Bill and Rahul just want you to be happy that you have a job. They’re taking full advantage of weak job market. Oh, and come in the office more!
