After 30 years of being trusted and well respected, to now be treated like a 4 year old; sorry, I won’t be part of that. I’m off to a better place that values and rewards their employees, and will be back to being 100% remote, better healthcare, and annual bonuses. The jobs are out there, there is life outside of the orange gulag. And yes, I did it on my own terms, before any surprises made things an emergency. This artificial process of keeping the stock price up is not sustainable. This is a Jenga tower with too many missing pieces, and I’m more than happy to be getting out of the way before it collapses.
