When JD is home and HO takes over if you’re male you better bow down. If you look a those who are gone it was largely males with tenure. She’s elevated her friends into roles and she’ll continue. The AC lawsuit showcased the old boys network, when will the old girls network be exposed. The cuts were not about talent evaluation it was about D&I and gender “right sizing.”

Nonsense. Everything is on track as expected. I’ve been saying this since layoffs were announced- this is all to boost the stock. And it definitely will. If you think otherwise you’re not paying attention.

Seeking Alpha, today:
“Turning to the Wall Street community, 16 analysts have given NKE a Strong Buy, while 10 are Buy on the stock. 12 analysts have given the stock a Hold recommendation, one has rated it a Sell and one as Strong Sell.”

Zero heads will roll. Because they cut off a bunch of our heads instead. This is the game. Pay attention

I think we are past looking at the CEO. That's a given.

The Board needs to be taking some direct accountability.... this is the second significant change to strategy and the global workforce, under the same Board's oversight. Something has to change, and it needs to start with the Board....

Its a bit in the middle of all this. A BOD is approving strategy and high level steering decisions but they are not necessarily writing the strategy and certainly not overseeing execution. Its quite literally JD's job description to drive these agreements. The board is not, for example, orchestrating our all team meeting that went belly up and caught fire then exploded, they're retaining JD to ensure his organization doesn't fu-k things like this up. Which as it turns out is exactly what keeps happening.

So sure, BOD is no doubt in approval of the path proposed, but it remains to be seen whether they're in approval of where it actually brought us and the many lower decisions that shaped the journey.

I imagine it's the boards approval on leadership's proposals.

I'll add to what's been said here - the Board knows all.

GAP isn't making decisions without board approval. Tech isn't making decisions without board approval. Nobody is making decisions without board approval.

Even if you all could fire all the people you think are responsible for this mess, the board will remain and so will the issue that have manifested because of those board decisions.

Aim your anger in the right direction.

Look ya'll. I don't like JD much either, but you'd be foolish to think he's making these decisions in a vaccuum. Everything is board-approved.

It works to the boards benefit too. If things get bad, they can fire 'the face' and save face themselves.

They've approved everything that's happened so far. It's not like they convene once per quarter to evaluate the decisions JD has made. Get real people.
