Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Systems Slowdown

Truist sends down major updates on many Wealth systems and we freaking can’t do our work! I sent a message asking what was going on. Response? “Well, there are updates and it will work like before once they finish and you restart your laptop.”

Here’s an idea, Truist: inform your affected employees BEFORE you do a major update on all the systems a division is using since you chose to do it during the work day. Such incompetence!

Working from home would not have overcome the problems we had yesterday. People need to grow up, be thankful you could work for home during the biggest scam in mankind’s history and get back to the office.

“Remote work does not work”. Poor choice of words aside, this is a false statement. If remote work “didn’t work” the economy would have collapsed during the pandemic.

“All are distracted by personal endeavors”. Hyperbole.

Do us all a favor. Go ahead and book an office and watch Purpose Corner on repeat. Leave us alone
