Since this all started, I've gone through all five stages of layoffs (I know it's grief, but it's pretty much the same deal): denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. I went from thinking I would not be laid off, to being angry at Nike for doing this, to thinking I would take a pay cut if I would still have my job, to stressing over it 24/7, to finally accepting there's nothing I can do about it and that I'd be much happier at a place where I don't have to go through these stages. I'm finally feeling okay again.

Similar stages here…but is it really better elsewhere? Corporate greed is corporate greed.
The more they lay off the more work I am forced to pick up. Of course I want out.
I’d be happy to take a 20% pay cut after getting laid off if it meant a return to sanity.
