Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Does anyone know the average merit increase % at Schwab this year?

Inflation rate is predicted to be 2.3% in 2024.

I got Met Expectations and 2.85%. I was happy with that considering the circumstances.

"The 2k who had the rug pulled out from under them with the layoff have a 0% merit increase. Be glad you have a job and are getting any increase!!! The job market is awful!"

I was laid off and got a new job that pays better. got a large severance and getting my bonus this Friday. I guess my "merit" is around 50%. better than what anyone who stayed will ever see

The average is probably 2.5%. However, this depends on where are at in the compensation scale of ypurmgrade.

Inflation at 2.5%? - straight out of WH press conferences. Go shopping now & at the end of 2024 and let's compare notes.

So you're against capitalism and a free market. And you don't understand that the BLS and analysts aren't the WH or Joe Biden.

Maybe Always Go Away. The ignorance and hypocrisy of the loser's followers is laughable.

Funding level across the board was 3%. Your leaders may have received less if someone above them took a bigger cut to give out. Also remember, exceeds and severely underpaid people are going to get the > 3%. Frankly 2.5% is doing pretty well in this terrible pool (not that anyones hould be happy about it)
