Does anyone know if you can collect unemployment after your severance period?

Varies by state. WF won’t contest it.
Important callout:
In states where you can collect unemployment benefits while on severance, be aware of the waiting period to refile for unemployment benefits.
If you find another job and get laid off, you might not be able to file again for a year or more (e.g., in CA, it's 18 mos., IIRC) if you maxed out your unemployment benefit drawdown.
It's a tenuous time to be looking for work, and there's no guarantee your next job (or 2+) will be solid.
In Texas and most states you can collect unemployment during the severance period. I contemplated taking it but decided to start working after the notice period so i can stack up that Caaasssh
In Georgia you can collect while on severance
here's a thought, check your states unemployment website
In Oregon you CAN collect unemployment during your severance period. But not during the 60 day notice period.
Oregon doesn't require you to report severance. So my understanding is the opposite of yours.
OP, this is a state-specific question.
In Iowa you can collect unemployment while receiving severance. It’s state specific.
In OR, you have to wait until severance is done. Then you can apply for unemployment.
There may be state differences. In ca i took during severance
