These layoffs revealed everything that is wrong with Nike. It’s become a far cry from the company I joined years ago. Problems run deep. Failure to remain relevant, competitive and successful created a cesspool. And that failure lies in the hands of leadership. I haven’t been sacked yet, and I will be giving this place my bare minimum while actively looking for another job. Leadership should think about how they managed to go from the place where most of us wanted to work at and enjoyed our jobs to a place we can not wait to run away from.
