Investors aren't fu--ing stupid. No serious person can tell the world they PLAN to beat on their workforce for half of a calendar year and think everyone will say "wow look at these cool business masterminds over here bringing it home"
No, shareholders are hearing about and looking into this heinous sh-t storm, getting nervous and exiting confidence. As any sane person would bearing witness to the money making part of their investment unanimously and righteously flipping the bird to their execs.
Any proof you've ever needed these millionaires and billionaires are all luck no skill see it live in 2024, when apparently parody becomes indistinguishable from reality.
