Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Accountability

Here’s an example of what accountability looks like. @Nike leadership please take notes.

At my previous company, VPs were all asked to take a 20% pay cut in order to save people’s jobs. There were still people let go but this was how leadership showed that they take accountability. No one blinked an eyelid. THAT was the motivation people needed to keep going under the difficult circumstances. Later that year, with the business situation improving - the 20% was returned to the employees who took those cuts.

Better yet, JD makes $38m+, cut that in half, as well as HO and CW do the same and invest that in the 2000 people let go and upleveling design and product creation. Not hard to do. Also if employees don't get bonuses, ELT and VPs do. So if there is an annoucement that there will be no bonsues know that is not the case for ELT and VPs.

At least forego bonuses until we all get PSP. Win as a team, right?
