They’ve decimated the company, brought in a hippie with a bad mullet that have bankrupted two other companies and the entire goal is to sell us off in a fire sale. Fun times.

It really su-ks to be working at Humana right now. It’s evident we will sell or merge. I suspect it will be officially announced within the next 12 to 15 months from now. The thing with mergers, is that the original employees ALWAYS get the short end of the stick. When you sell, the original employees are often left behind too. Either way, layoffs will happen. No position will be safe. Every department will be impacted in some form or fashion. Working at Humana is so anxiety-inducing. There’s no stability. There’s no certainty. I hate it here. I’m trying to be grateful that I do have a job, especially in this current job market, but knowing I might not have one a couple of years from now is agonizing.
Pretty clear this is where they’re headed.
The writing is on the wall it seems.
