Completely devoid of content. What was the purpose? You can’t announce massive layoffs and a new org and not explain it. Leadership that could not lead us out of a wal mart.

H is too good to be associated with the rest of that crew. Feel bad for him.

Anyone else noticed how JD botched our mission statement, even with the “asterisk” mention, but didn’t complete our mission statement of “if you have a body, you are an athlete”. Funny how most of us know our own mission statement and he can’t read it correctly from a script. He’s not a Nike guy.

fwiw, @byz+1rjlkKqL, they're called masks. Some people are immunocompromised, have family who are immunocompromised, or—and I hope you're sitting down for this. Ready? Ok—just prefer to wear one, and that's totally ok.

@tmr+1rjlkKqL totally agree, feels like they called an audible and pulled the plug earlier than planned.

They replayed the same video from the start (odd) and ended 20 minutes early (also kind of odd) pretty abruptly. Does this give anyone else the vibe that they were going to announce more but decided to cut it short? Rumor was we were going to hear about the 5 day RTO. If this wasn’t actually live- they probably were monitoring the chat.

TLDR for folks wiser than me who skipped this BS.

They couldn’t even do an all hands meeting right. Everyone reading off a script was comical. JD lost a pound of flesh. Poor guy. No accountability or transparency on what happens next. H at the end saying nothing of substance.

The best thing that happened in the employee meeting was the chat! People spoke their heart and were brutally honest!

And I'm not sure if I'm the only one who felt this is a pre recorded session and not an live one.

Just in case JD, or someone close to him reads this. JD said the word "Accountability", but there was no actual accountability. Accountability is simply giving an accounting. Here is what I or we did. Here was the result - and why it wasn't what we wanted. Here is what we learned. Here is what we will do differently going forward. 0 of these four components were there.

So, yes, accountability would be a good and useful thing. You're welcome.

That was the most tone deaf load of BS I have seen in...ever wow let's completely ignore the elephant in the room and provide zero tangible information on the path forward. H is a wonderful speaker and could make anyone run through a brick wall but that was a huge missed opportunity by Nike "leaders" to show some leadership...FAIL

The only + to this meeting was no announcement of going back to 5 day work weeks.
