Unlimited PTO is not good for employees. What that really means is that they will use it against you if you take it, and also that you won’t have a PTO accrual to be paid out in $ when you leave.
@1ofu+1rhz9yhc If its unlimited, I'm going back a true hybrid forget just Fridays. I'll be in Tues-Thurs.
Knowing the LT team, it would be Unlimited PTO, but all People Managers have been explicitly told how much time they can allow, favorites will of course benefit, not so much for others. Teams that already have a light work load will of course take off while overworked teams become even more burnout. All this for it be rolled back when employees start point out that the same LT team that didn't want them actually using the PTO haven't been seen in Oregon since the policy started, with blocked out calendars.
Nah. Imma leave if they switch to unlimited PTO. That’s 35k they’d be taking out of my pocket.
Either that or I’m taking every Friday off now that PTO is unlimited.
Unlimited pto you say?!....guess I'll take every Friday as PTO then.
There are bigger companies to take your skillset to. Nike will be saying goodbye to their top talent if they move to a mandatory 5 day work week.
We can take our skills to other Fortune 100 companies that won't require the same.
Wait , is that unlimited PTO thing a thing??. I’ve heard about the five days which is some of the worst dog sh-t ever regardless of whoever isn’t signing in on Friday, although it’s not the most tone deaf thing this leadership team has passed off in the past two months. So he’s about to drag out layoffs two months, for the IC who are not as financially equipped to handle it unlike VPs and SD and then is going back to 5 days. All before he tells us we aren’t getting a bonus either . Yea we need to stop being afraid to unionize , these corporations are getting away with mu---r at this point.
We might be going to five days in office, but I highly doubt they would announce it in the middle of all this. It would be the nail in the morale coffin and they would kiss any chance of a productive quarter out the door.
Five days a week after summer Fridays end in September, becausw some of you don't log in at all on WFH Fridays. Confirmed rumor.
Unlimited PTO and act like it’s a gift for working 5 days, when studies show it actually increases productivity by 40% and less people take time off.
"blah blah blah thoughts and prayers"
JD will talk about implementing the 5 day work week that will start in June
