It is so sh---y for us who are still here, and shittier for those who are being let go. Reach out to your colleagues and friends who were laid off. We are all in this together, and they need our support. Reach out to your colleagues even if you are all still here. Nobody should feel alone in these cr-ppy times.

as someone who was laid off in the last round, the number of people who gave a kind “let me know if you need anything” and then haven’t replied when I do reach out is incredibly disheartening.
