Heard a rumor that big cuts are coming this Friday while most of us are wfh. Some VPs/SDs are getting looped in to wrap up phase 2 by March. Though it'll go on till the end of Q4, looks like the bulk of it will be done sooner. Thoughts?

Why ruin one weekend when you can ruin two?
We work for a corporation that not only couldn't coordinate a meaningful restructuring even with comically deep experience in that avenue but more importantly that didn't seem to have the collective business acumen on tap to perceive productivity would sink like the titanic under drawn out, incomprehensible proceedings.
So would it even matter at this point? The damage has been done twice over already and the sheer ineptitude revealed in execution is devastating.
