Every day is stressful. It seems like multiple times a week there is a change or new protocol or bad news. Today I have an “URGENT” meeting added to my schedule. What is urgent and why do I have to wait until the end of the day. Is my department getting laid off? Like someone else mentioned I have no motivation to try or go above and beyond. Number one, I worked very hard last year and did better than expectations and what did it get me? And if I’m going to lose my job then also - why try? Idk it’s super sad and I’m very unhappy. So what happened? what was the urgent meeting?
Yes over half of the Centerwell home health authorization team was laid off to out sourcing to a company that has cost us 2.5 million dollars in write offs due to member of leadership from kindred that wants to lie about the amount of money they have costed our company. Horrible and pathetic
Well what happened?
Guys, it’s just a job. After devoting years of my life to the company, I was laid off Monday. The writing was on the wall, and nothing I did or didn’t do in my work life would have changed the outcome. Prepare for the eventuality, but live your best life!
BTW, if you get a meeting invite where the attendees are hidden and you cannot forward the invite, it’s curtains for you…..
You are more than this job. Please power through for the sake of those that love you. You can and will recover!
What department?
I have a feeling this year will be full of layoffs. Rumors are out there that we are going to begin renting networks from the other carriers. I'm sorry you got an email...if it is from some VP you've never talked to before then it probably is a RIF. If not it is probably just an organizational announcement with a poor title.
