Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Boy, campus is a lot emptier today…

Rolled in at 10:00 and I still got a parking spot. Feels like a 30% reduction, about the same punt before all the remote workers were forced to come back.

What is the reasoning, do you think, for having people work from home?

Re: 15% or more... yes, that was tricksy wordsmithing in Jon Don's email... 2% of 80k total global workforce is 1.6k. But since only corporate roles are impacted, and that population is 8-12k, it represents a cut of 13-20% there.

If you think about all frontline workers not being impacted by the cuts, it’s likely more of a 15% (more?) reduction of global corporate employees.
