Is there something we can set up to help support people that have been blindsided today and in the future? Any ideas? So many tears, and I find that the outside world has so little empathy these days. This is a very traumatic week for many people. I want to be there for people who need it, we all need it.

FYI- NIKE managers seldom received management training, let alone training that would help them navigate their direct reports through difficult times. It's one of the reasons this is such a sh1t show.
So, outside groups like 6453 Alumni can help much better than anyone on campus....been there, got nothing.
My husband is an employee and I have been watching all this. It’s very disappointing how people managers haven’t been provided tools or direction to help their teams through this. People have been asked to stay home which can be extremely isolating and frankly, very unhealthy for some people during a time of stress. I am just absolutely disgusted at how this is unfolding.
Outsider here. It’s not just outsiders, many current employees also don’t have any empathy for their Nike colleagues
You may also find resources within the Nike United Networks. You can be a member of any of them, no matter the affiliation. Sometimes they will have listening sessions and other events to offer support. Hang in there. <3
Please reach out to the 6453 Alumni group. They are an incredible resource that will take you under the wings as some have been in the same shoes and others who have built their own companies etc
