What happens if you are on PTO when they send you a meeting invite? Will they just wait for you to come back?

I mean, I may not check my email while I'm off...
I was on PTO yesterday. Filed, accepted, calendar blocked all the trimmings. Got a calendar invite for a zoom call and laid off nonetheless.

They will call you and lay you off by phone call. There is no escape.
They will call you and continue to call you in the event you don't answer. I experienced this first hand while on PTO.
Good luck with people solutions - turn around time is horrendous and I can see it only get worse
So CALL them!!
Do not email unless you
- never want a reply
- have a 1-2 week turnaround if you are lucky to get a reply
They will call you.
Huh? It gets paid out. Please email people solutions they will answer all of your questions if you are impacted
