Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Is CA Center shut down soon ?

Heard there may be a chance of shutting down CA Center soon, as part of this plan these layoffs going to hit , is it true ? How many are working actively there now?

@qzc+1raLPvuo What are you basing the information about ATL on? There are several leaders (like SrDir level) there with their entire teams based at WHQ. They fly out to WHQ 1-2 times a quarter - not cheap, the site is not cheap either. It makes ZERO sense.

That whole thing was a boondoggle and should’ve never been opened in the first place. Squandering money, so tech VPs could seem important. Between that, and the Atlanta office, which nobody to the day knows what happens in that failed experiment… It would not surprise me if we opted out of both and said goodbye to everyone that calls that home base.
