They absolutely DO. NOT. CARE. They want you to quit from the mental exhaustion so they can say “Alright well… we didn’t fire you so…”

I stayed at Dell for many years because they supported flexible work. I turned down a few roles with more money because they required being in the office. I left two years ago (better pay and still remote) and I am glad I got out when I did. Dell leadership is clueless. They are impulsive and rarely think about the long term. It took me leaving to realize just how little they value people or talent and how much better it can be.
