Verizon really doesn’t care about its employees, extending hours again for maybe 1 customer that may come in. Already dead after 4 but let’s take more time away from your family and not care about the work life balance you preached when they were shortened. Make the parents pay for longer childcare which is more expensive then what is paid and forget about going to any of yours kids activities. Sad sad company. Will be looking elsewhere which I’m sure is what they want, but they win- family first. They don’t care about me or you or anyone. Hope this causes a union to form for them!

The way to make a successful union for retail would be to form it twentyml Guylyn to thirty years ago when they had to have the stores to sell phones.
Back then they didn’t have them sold at best buy, costco, fifty different other resellers, apple, google, ebay, amazon, amazon, walmart, and failing all that verizon.com. I don’t see a mayor or governor pressuing VZ to settle so they have their vz retail store open and not on strike.
The thing a union would do, is pi-s upper Verizon off. At this point, the collateral is the important piece. Verizon has elbow dropped its “most important piece” several times. Maybe a union wouldn’t do sh-t, but it’s because it has never been able to metastasize. Let’s see how upper Verizon feels when their worst enemy (seemingly, all execs lose their sh-t when anything union comes to light. Why? Because the agenda hits a road block)
Union is a joke 😆 still get fired for the same sh-t.
Retail is a sinking ship get out. Like who goes to a store to buy a phone anymore. All you have to do is turn it on sign in with you apple id or gmail than bam it is done. Get out while you can.
Haven’t gotten word of any hour changes in my area??? Are they adjusting store hours again soon??
Maybe you should look to improve your skills and move out of retail. There are plenty of jobs that works nights and weekends, EMT, nurses, food services, etc. Don’t be a hypocrite and eat out late at night because those companies don’t care about their employees either. Hate to break it to you but union can’t help you with store hours. They have union stores now and same type of quota and benefits. Only difference is union dues.
