Thread regarding CVS layoffs

CVS patting themselves on the back

CVS is boasting on HeartBeat about their great benefits. What a joke - they are now charging an extra $100 a month to cover your spouse if they also work. My healthcare costs have tripled compared to my last employer.

To the person that said that it was standard for other companies to make you pay if your spouse is working - you are correct. Heck, even Aetna used to do that. That is the way a lot of employers do business now. Sad, but true.

Times up on this leadership team. I don’t know anyone who believes they can fix this companies free fall! Karen is not the leader she hustled the board into thinking she was. These are real lives she is destroying.

Love getting the annual raise and per usual insurance rates go up and end actually end up making less per paycheck per year. Think about that, the small raises do not even keep you up with inflation, ridiculous. Also let’s make bonuses so hard to get with high targets and budgets that we don’t make anything. I know personally that this year I will be earning significantly less than the previous year. Great incentive CVS, heart at work.

Congratulations to all for working for a top employer! (or for working for a company willing to establish woke policies and pony up the hefty nomination fee!)

Insurance is expensive even with the highest deductible. I occasionally use my employee discount card but even then it is higher than Walmart

Cvs looks at there associates as customers they just raise the rates on us to make more $$$$. It’s a F’n joke that everyone I know in various fields pay less for insurance, then us as employees of a company that owns there insurance. The U-Haul truck can’t pull up quick enough to corporate to pack Karen’s a-s up and all her awards and accolades so she can sail off in the sunset. When will the board of directors grow some big brass ones and cut her loose. Stock prices keeps plummeting as Karen, Prem and the rest of the woke leaders hand out kudos and a-s slaps to each other over meaningless social projects that bring ZERO to the business

It is standard in most companies to charge if your spouse/partner works but chooses not to be covered by their insurance. Not only is it standard but it’s been the practice for sometime. It makes sense to me.

Healthcare costs are up everywhere. It’s out of control.

Waiting on those reduced employee costs from the Aetna acquisition. It’s all a shell game with others’ lives with this leadership team. Don’t get me started on their “retiree medical plan”. 🤮
