Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

VHI the new Hum?

These things are boomerangs. Quota is outrageous and I see more come back than stick. What is the deal?

Completely agree with the post, my store receives so many repeat customers who have already tried it and worked horrifically so won’t even try again months later even if it was better. but we have to hear about if they don’t want to try again.

Ultimately, the problem is the premature roll outs of these products.

The other problem is if the customer doesn't plug it in, it doesn't show up on your commission run and you won't get credit for the sale.So the customer can forget that they have it and its on their bill and is being charged, the rep will never get credit for it. Also, the revenue you make on upgrades is laughable considering the amount of time you spend with these needy people

too bad the mo--ns on the board and top didn't just build out fios and actual internet. Instead we rent our wireless networks to our competition who has better internet and uses our mobile towers.

This is funny. I just got into an argument with my SM about this about how much of a boomerang these are. I said to him even corporate knows less.

For real they got us slamming these. Like They always come back. People have cable internet gig speeds around here and we are trying to get them to switch to wireless internet with 300 mbps on a good day when the sky is clear and no one else is using the internet. Such a cr-p product. Sure it has it's use cases and situations but 75% of the time it just ain't it. Thank god they changed to it attainment and not banner close rate. Explaining to grandma to cut the cord and use youtube tv and a bunch of streaming services is like pulling teeth. Plus after all that it's back to as much as her cable bill. It's 100 percent the new hum.

Someone was sold that it would work a long time ago and they need it to work so they can drop wireline. Yeah blah blah someone will say wireless runs on wireline but the people making decisions don’t care.
