Don’t ever consider this a career job.. just a step to your next place of employment

It’s not much of a package. 1 week for every year. Then they make you sign an agreement to not sue.

If you got severance count your lucky stars... a lot of people are wanting a package to help with the transition to somewhere better

I just got let go! Manager said there isn’t enough work to justify me.

Someone with a law degree that specializes in labor and state subsidies needs to look into these business practices. They hired a ton of people in Nebraska and New Jersey to get tax breaks and are now trying to drive people out presumably to offset them.

Crooked. AF.

"I'm a former Sioux falls employee who was considering relocating to Lincoln, but ended up not doing that. Pretty glad I didn't move after reading this.

Why are people from Lincoln getting let go when I thought they were trying to grow that location?"

They want to grow with cheap labor. Guessing these RIF's made too much money.

They wanted all the severance expense to book in Q1 and not carry over into Q2.

They get paid for those missing days on top of severance, but the Cobra clock ends one month sooner.

That is not good mgt. Two weeks of pay makes a bigger difference to the employee than to fiserv
