I heard anyone that's lucky enough to get a raise this year is getting worse than last year's raise, but we're classified as the same for review. Fiserv cheaping out but expecting more work.

Some sales people and other bonus eligible grade 10 and below will also not get a merit increase "at this time" for whatever that means.

what if you're grade 10 and below and also got a bonus incentive?

Had the merit increase conversation yesterday - apparently, if you are grade 10 or lower, you will be eligible for an increase. Grade 11 and higher will not get a merit increase because you get a “bonus” incentive that you can’t touch for a rolling three years 🙄

Nine days late. But they want our goals entered on-time for Friday.

Comp statements were released today to managers, conversations this weekend - increase effective 4/1 and shown on your 4/15 paycheck.

I'm below grade 10 and still no merit increase communication. I guess there are no merit increases this year?

Has anyone been told about their merit increase? This company is getting sneaky.

If they stretch "summer" far enough into the fall, then you won't get a merit increase next year because it hasn't been long enough since your last increase. Not that they would plan that in advance or anything....

I saw an article about Chiarello exercising stock options worth $6.61M, sure I got a few RSU as part of a “bonus” but it will be 2027 before I see all of it. Pretty bitter pill to be told no merit after reading that. But oh “they might revisit in summer”…uh huh.

Correct!

It takes a lot of nerve to suggest that money has any value or meaning for associates.

They are the worker bees - not the leaders, the innovators, the managerial class, the best and only real talent in the company!

WARNING - SARCASM

Merit increases? Bah!

Who among us lowly associates needs or deserves a merit increase?

I mean, really.

To those waiting to hear about merit increases, they have until the 14th to tell you. If your boss is a weasel, and you were denied an increase they might not even bother to tell you.

Debt is in the Annual Report (10k) and the quarterly report (10-q).

You can usually check the debt schedule to see how much is coming due and when it is due.

What do you expect?! The company is in 23 billion dollars of debt. It runs like the USA. It’s practically bankrupt and is a zombie organization. Milk it for what it’s worth and smile after you give them the big f serv! Have a pizza and think linguini. Mamma Mia! Magnificento!

Grade 11 and higher didn't get merit this year? How can that be justified? Sorry for all my friends still at Fiserv.

Contract workers - I was one for 2 years - NEVER go perm. Oh they promise this, that and t'other but never come thru. And they are easy to fire - no severance, for any reason or just let the contract expire and gone they are. No benefits either. So they are ALWAYS looking for work.
