70 percent will be reskilled

The announcement said 70 percent from 8000 will be moved to new roles...will it really happen ,I don't see that many open roles internally

Not happening, same thing in 2019. Bloodbath; Any role that's decent would have been earmarked early. This entire exercise is a show of solidarity that we are in this together BS. If you don't have a godfather or not earmarked for a role; count yourself out

As I recall, it was 70% of the 8K through voluntary package or re-skilled, not 70% re-skilled. I suspect most if not all of the 8k is voluntary or layoffs, not re-skilled.

Yes, there’ll be plenty of roles available - if you’re happy to plummet back to a T2-1 role and be based in India or Eastern Europe.

Same goes for applying for other positions: They just don’t exist in the numbers needed to meet the BS percentage that CK spewed out at the All-Hands meeting in January.

@1aov+1rJ81okg It is very, very quiet. Most that I work with don’t seem too concerned and think that they’ll be safe. I see (on Linkedin) that there were a number of SAP people attending Fusion last week.
Why, I don’t know, but it was strange.

Fusion is being renamed renamed The Etosha Thurman Roadshow for ‘ 25 and beyond.

Last year majority of the reductions came from BTP and S4, i wonder if the bulk of this years reduction will be from LoBs like fieldglass or concur! Do we even sell callidus anymore?

No, it's a total fabrication. They will rehire in cheap, low quality of life countries people to fulfil the roles. This is entirely about pumping the stock price but artificially boosting profitability until it falls over, but ck will have dumped all his stock by then
