Everyone on this Site needs to Calm Down and take their FVKITOL Medication.
Post ID: @1xani+1qvwCb1l You need to take the Fvkitol medication in the Fvkitol Coffee Mug from Amazon. According to Amazon the Fvkitol instructions and side effects are:
Take as needed 500 mg to deal with everyday Citi BullSh!t
Medication is dispensed as a liquid with notes of sarcasm and Fvckery
Take with food Before dealing with Citi people
Can be taken with Alcohol
Can cause a sense of freedom from Citi Id!ocy
Prescription Dispensed By: IDGAF Pharmacy (I Don't Give a Fvck Pharmacy)

Post ID: @hkn+1s0noAkq This just in: CEO Jane Fraser bets on the number of Sheep B@lls she can eat.....And she Wins ! She ate 80,000 Sheep B@lls, the same number of Employees she Axed between 2023 and 2026! Ever see the Chevy Chase movie, Funny Farm when Chevy didn't realize he ate 30 Sheep Test!cles ??? Before he was told what he ate and then vomited wildly clear across the room, he was exclaiming the whole time how delicious the "food" was! He even said No one else seems to know how good the diner's food is. ROTFLMFAO! Post ID: @1spf+1s0noAkq

Hi, what's really bad is the unbelievable number of H1B's that are in every company. I've been laid off three (3) times since 2010. Each time, it has been increasingly more difficult to find another job.

It has happened yet again. I work for CITI bank as a SWE. I have solid experience together with a Ms in Computer Science. In late March of 2024, I was let go via a Zoom call. There are 1000's upon 1000's of H1B workers employed by CITI Bank, Google, Microsoft. Facebook and almost all American companies.

7000 other CITI workers like me have also been let go. Ñone of them were H1B visa holders. The principal behind granting a foreign worker an H1B work visa is that they have a specific skill set that an American worker does not possess.

As I spend the next 9 TO 12 months seeking a replacement job, I'll be competing with foreign workers. They dislike American workers, and the majority don't have the level of experience or knowledge to deserve an H1B visa. Why should I and my fellow CITI bank employees who have been laid off have to compete for replacement jobs while so many foreign workers have taken our jobs?

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? What are your thoughts about this?

Coriolanus (of Hunger Games and Shakespeare) of RIsk DART and his Effie Trinket (reference Hunger Games) exactly behave like Coriolanus and Effie. They showed the new org structure and PPTs. No one is buying their BullSH!T because we all know the Layoffs are Not over. As others have said, because of the Sh!tShow, do the bare minimum, do Not go the extra mile, do Not rush, do Not multitask. You will Not be rewarded for working 50 to 80 hour weeks and are only a a dispensible faceless cog in the Citiwheel that will get Laidoff anyway.

Sh-t show of a company run on excel and power point slides. Meetings with no clear agenda and MDs clearly steering the ship towards the iceberg. And that’s all under the watch of the senior leadership who are only concerned about their annual comp. The so called transformation effort is likely to open more consent orders due to the lack of clarity of what the end result should be. Cheap labor in 3rd world countries will not keep you afloat for long. Whoever is departing this circus should consider themselves lucky!

C14- got laid off. Working notice 4/1-4/15; non working notice 4/15-5/30. 2 weeks severance per year served. Wondering why the non working period varies. If anyone knows. Is that legal? Other employees had 60 days notice in prior waves.

Was laid off 3.25.24 @ 11:00 am, Tampa. Received the same script as above. I have 10+ years. It was done via zoom - MD did not even say hello or look at me. He read the script to me, waiting a minute for questions and disconnected. There wasn't even a thank you for all of my 50 - 60 hour, 6 to 7 day weeks. They don't need robots, they already have plenty of them. Thats who needed to go, not the hard workers. Best of luck to everyone.

Jax - C14, 13 years. Just a block be moved around the chess board, or discarded. Informed Notification Period is 4/1 - 4/15 , smooth transition expected, then 60 days paid non-working period. Exit/Severance Package not discussed HR will contact at a later day. The optics of Project Bora Bora, as a way to simplify the bank, is laughable. It was to let go 20,000 people in the name of profits, and saving 2 Billion.

@gjp+1rIgos7z, for anyone that earns at least 100K a year, you will get 12 weeks of severance package (it’s the greater of two: 2 weeks per year of service or the flat 12 weeks). Since you are here for less than 2 years, you will get 12 weeks of severance pay! I’m a current employee at Citi. If someone earns less than 100K, they get 8 weeks of severance package if it’s under 2 years of service.

Thousands of people being affected while 'Mary Poppins' patting herself on the back at everyone's expense and taking in millions in compensation. It's a brutal week for Citi and our co-workers. We do all the work and at the end of the day we are just numbers easy to discard. I hope everyone finds inner peace throughout and after this ordeal and able to find another job or have a decent retirement. However our fate turns out, good luck to all of us!

Risk/ORM, C14, Tampa. MD read the script. HR was on the call. Was told eligible for severance, HR didn't have any numbers in terms of weeks. Put on 60 day non-working leave.

I find it very interesting that many people who are getting laid off are older workers. Many of these people have been at citi for 20+ years.

Citi is purposefully losing decades worth of institutional knowledge. This place is too process heavy. It's so difficult to navigate the process layers and it's nearly impossible to identify "that one person" who can get us past a process barrier, and now citi decides to lay off the knowledgeable people??

I thought this was about "streamlining" the bank Jane, so please do tell me how making our jobs more difficult will make our daily tasks more efficient and less risky. Please do tell me how that will enhance our work life balance.

This place is done. Updated my LinkedIn today and updating my resume. Probably should've done that years ago. There is no future here.

Is there any way to check if someone's been affected? For example, changes in Citi Directory, organization unit, etc. I assume there isn't, but wondering if anyone knows a way.

bgi+1rIg0s7Z here again. Info directly from my director's mouth.

The colleague who wasn't invited to tomorrow's meeting just got riffed.

We will no longer have a manager. Everyone on my team will be moved to IC/Level 8. The SVPs who report to my director will also by moved to IC/Level 8.

Can someone explain Level 8? Does that mean we're at the bottom of the totem pole?
