Anyone else find it hilarious that this company is panicking about how bad sales are in mission 1? Like what did they expect 😄. It'll be interesting to see what they do next year because if they let the remaining reps go sales will plummet even more. Maybe just leave dsd altogether?

Yes 9%. Those that had a pension now get an automatic 4.5% and another 4.5% when they contribute 6%. So contributing 6% is actually 15%
Life was very different back in the day! Reps were actually respected and paid well. Greed took over and it will never go back! Reps are getting paid so much less and are given bonus incentives that are not attainable. Can’t imagine why anyone would want to work there.
I always thought it was 6% match
Wait!? 9% match on 401k??
They created this mess, make them deal with it! When my DM tells me to do something I simply remind him in an email, cc myself, and let him know where I am with hours. With so many factors outside of our control (grocery managers availability tops the list)! Cc yourself and don’t let up! If it’s everyday, so be it! Everything in writing.
As for whose d-mb idea…..GS of course! Mr Narcissist himself!
Agree. Structure is awful. Like who the he-l thought of this 😄
Well that’s what happens when you get rid of reps, give the remaining reps who weren’t let go of 25-40 stores and rely on order writing merchandisers as the main people in your stores. You cut back on weekend service. The order writers job is to order sales reps job is to sell. With reps being in the stores less and the order writers not having selling as part of their job the quality of service plummeted and with that comes less stores wanting to do business with us.
The only way to make up for bad sales is too cut cost. Getting rid of the reps with 6+ weeks vacation, company gas card/car, 9% 401k match and replacing them with lower paid ftow, no car, 2 weeks vacation, no 401k is an obvious way of cutting huge costs.
