Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Samantha Hammock

Samantha Hammock on today's UTS: "There's nothing more important than our customers." IS SHE JOKING?! The customer experience has been degraded exponentially in the past few years. The only thing the leaders care about is the shareholders, the stock price, and themselves. She's so fake and full of sh-t.

Do you want some fifty year old in a business suit selling you a phone? “Just like when we sold car phones with a backpack battery these will get you lots of status points plus you won’t pull a muscle!”

She is the worst, and what a slap in the face to all the employees who work hard and get outsourced for lower quality producers. If we actually cared we would have all US based employees on the front lines. This company is going to cr-p due to quality hires. Those store reps look like a joke too, why would I buy anything from them. We seriously need to look at profits and evaluate how hiring better talent can help drive profits. Paying low wages gets you outsourcing and young store reps that look like they can't sell me a phone even if I said I wanted one. "were a family" that was 100% cringe worthy. Then those new hires raved about L&D, the same folks that 50% or more are being outsourced to India or the Philippines. What a joke, and those kids think they'll have a career hahaha. It was a pathetic attempt to please the board. Hans is on the ropes. Expect him to be let go by end of year.

Look out when a company starts referring to you as family! That's nothing but a joke!

It's all good in these set-up, you'll never hear anything about the massive processes disfunctions plaguing everywhere and the silos mentality growing exponentially

@cpi+1rDR0E9U, Fix Or Repair Daily, man that’s an old, tired and stupid joke. btw, fix and repair mean the same thing, so why the “or”?

Did “Quality is job one” mean ford was tops in quality or an admission of fix or repair daily.

I thought the newbies were awesome, but I did feel like it was a bit of a 'save my job' setup to make Hans look good.

Tell me those newbies were not coached on what to say.

I wanted to work here because these people are my family. C'mon.

It was truly a waste of time. The only reason for this event was to try to prove to the Board of Directors that the company has any energy. So bring a bunch of trainees with no experience for a cheerleading session. Pay no attention to the fact that the stock was $52 when Hans started and less than $40 today.

Dog and pony show. Bring the 15-20 year employees up that ACTUALLY know what is happening. What a waste of time.
