Layoffs yes! 8 Voyix Tms were let go yesterday. Went from a team of 80 with 2 managers to a new team of 165 with 3 managers! Tell us the company is in great shape but we were flat out told the 8 TMs were cut to keep from cutting CE’s! I have a feeling service will be farmed out! They are cutting in service and parts! Everything is on back order put playing the Covid card that’s long run out!!! Mismanaged and broke! CEs will be a thing of the past!

All depends on where you ended up. The Voyix side is severely struggling and having CE’s working many days in a row with on call every night.

Looks like no layoffs happen after Easter, I am guessing more at the end of the first quarter when both Voyix and Atleos report millions more in losses. On another note the techs are now officially divided, unable to run service calls for both companies, this is exactly how not to run a business, techs are going to be pushed to their wits ends, and customers are going to suffer with poor service and long waits. The retail parts system is changing, and offices closing. I feel for anyone left in the field, it’s going to be really messed up

What areas are getting hit at Atleos as I have not heard any rumblings?

Voyix had a bunch of terminations on March 28. Atleos has a bunch happening today. Both companies are broke. Thanks Hayford and Sullivan for ruining a legacy company.

Laughing apart, Sub-Saharan Africa is already on the roadmap since current superstars are becoming more and more expensive for investors, aka continuous growth funbase.

Rumor has it that more are in the works for this week. Is this in fact true?

9 week’s severance pay for PS people seems awful, the USA employment laws stink. Just for no notice of my layoff we get 8 weeks added to our last pay check, the RIF package is sent same day as termination that explains your offered severance, you have 14 days to sign or hire a lawyer to negotiate.
This would be a reason to unionize, if you have a union contract, at least you know exactly what severance you will get, example would be 1 week a year, up to 26 weeks?
The way the company is taking everything away terminating/targeting the sr people would also end. Just having someone to negotiate for the workers in my opinion would be better than just allowing what’s going on will all this overseas hiring to continue.

The “kids” posting on LinkedIn don’t want to “burn their bridges behind themselves”. They still think some future employer cares that they worked for NCR. Truth is nobody cares anymore. NCR is a dumpster fire that nobody cares about.

Not seeing any upset posts on Linkedin, maybe the layoffs aren’t happening? It’s all fun and teamwork pictures.

More layoffs next week. Next big surge end of Q2. Heard they’re going to be firing people who don’t comply with WFO.

Re: RIF — 2 months seeming pretty standard for Grade 9-10 employees, up to 6 months for upper-level management.

If you’ve gotten less than 2 months, please look into your rights re: the WARN notices act.

If you got terminated today, make sure you understand the RIF package, if you have any doubts talk to a employment lawyer, make sure you know what your entitled to.

you will get email from HR to your personal email account. Or a USPS packet. Severance is by pay grade. My grade 10 got me 14 weeks in 2018. With only 2 or 3 years, you may get nothing.

Substantial number let go in PS. Recent (2-3 years) college grads got hit hard. Anyone know what the severance package looks like? No word from HR.
