Being happening since the 90s. Some slower years. Some more robust years. Get some experience and keep a plan to move on. Employees are not as valuable and you pose a threat to their bottom line. If you can be you will be eventually. There are subtle signs. It sux. They love their cheap labor overseas even if it take 4 to do the job of one here. And those countries have universal health care systems in place. Ncr just gives them a stipend to help with off set the monthly cost to the employee.

Leaders at NCR Atleos company have been asked to start prioritizing their RIG lists and depending on Q1 results will determine how far down those list they will need to go.

Not surprised professional services is seeing layoffs, they are very knowledgeable and paid well, it’s something the company doesn’t value or care about

Voyix is in big trouble, debt is the grim reaper. The industry has an anchor attached to its neck after being thrown overboard. There is no way of escaping, the only option is death. Nobody wants what Voyix is selling.

I'm hearing Voyix is in trouble. There has been an immediate strangle hold on expenses where every nickel has to be pre-approved, as in there is very little cash in reserves. They is an exerted effort to shore up cash and try to offset the massive interest owed on debt. In an eminent sale of the company, having no cash and much debt will only attract bargain hunters.

If there is more tho not many in US left. Like less than 5000. Boots on the ground probable have some safety unless it gets out sourced locally. Not sure why a 140 year company needed or wasted money on hiring a brand ambassador, that seems odd to have an influencer to promote century old company. the C-Suit sl--s is what ki-led the placed. But they got their undeserved inflated pay so really they didn't care.
I remember 90s when they started the job transfer to India call centers. Folks from the US who had to go there to train them some came back with lots of key generators for software licenses packages. Its probably a good guess they’re selling propriety code on the black markets for hacking companies. A few months ago i searched their messages boards for both India and Serbia and for the most part they dont have much good to say either at working here. They’re just glad to have a job where high unemployment is. Its just considered their first job. I guess hiring 3 or 4 to replace one was cheaper. India folk even admitted to lying on their application on certifications obtained. Ncr i guess doesn't verify education. It just sad as i see many company's doing the same while the csuite asswipes rake in undeserved pay.

Q1 ends soon. There will be cuts to tweak the results. Always are. Bad managers fix bad numbers with layoffs to hide the fact they are incompetent. That has been the norm for the last 20 years or more.

I expect a quarter or 2 of evaluations and layoffs come fall.

Of course not. They might be distracted. Managers and teamleaders are so busy sc--wing each other at this moment. Just hilarious to see. Like watching a cheap predictable movie with popcorn. Once they wake up it is layoff the action movie.
