It will be interesting to see how things unfold. The top two should want to retire & enjoy their money. LE is not going to live forever. No one does. Oracle still has much life left. A succession plan would have to be in place. I think they will reorg mgmt before they leave. He didn’t make that video for no reason.
There were 2 Global Transformation calls within NACI involving several Sales-related groups. The reason there was this kind of early warning activity is that some of the groups were reshuffled and put into different orgs under different managers right away. In other words the reshuffling happened now instead of waiting until June 1. I didn't notice any layoffs but some of the moves seemed liked demotions and a coupld of apparent promotions.

You must be kidding! We don't have "leverage" here. Period! A layoff of this size just means everyone is sc--wd! I have a car payment, rent payment, insurance payments, everything. And that horsesht "package" story, people here think that is like winning the lottery. It isn't! I know two people who got "packages" who ran out of money before they could find another job in this crp market. I can't believe how bad this suks! WTF are we supposed to do?

Trying to figure what is going on at Oracle is like looking at COBOL through a distorted Prism and trying to find Solutions.
Suppose it depends on where you work in the company and how many “hands” were on the “all hands” you mention. This could be widespread in your LOB but that doesn’t necessarily reflect an overall broader change. Like I said layoffs happen and some get hit more often than others.
