It’s so telling of the leadership you work under during this time..
Absolute radio silence.. Nothing, no checking in at all… I’m not asking for much but wow, wasn’t expecting nothing at all.. So much for Maxims.. They ask you though.. What “leadership skills” do you feel are your strengths and opportunities…

Most all leaders know nothing. The ones that do and are involved in changes or have been terminated are not allowed to speak to you.
We are all on NDAs and all of our severances will get snatched away if anyone is caught breaking the rules. That is why people are quiet.
Everyone is trying to just get through this. You could ask your manager to have a team meeting or ask your teammates if they want to huddle. Take care of each other.
@rot you know kids don't have school today, right?
Our dir and Sr dir say as far as they know nothing gonna happen to the team. The last time they said "as far as I know", we had mass layoffs in less than 48 hrs...
I'm a Director and have been checking with my team daily, both as a group and directly with each of them. I unfortunately have no information to give them, but it is important to me that they at least be able to just talk.
My SD not said a SINGLE word to me or my team.
My SD has not communicated ANYTHING about this to the team after JD sent the email in December. I wonder if he is in denial. Our VP got laid off on Friday.
People are on PTO today because it’s a federal holiday and there’s no school. Also some people had PTO and vacations scheduled before they were given a 12 hour heads up of layoffs starting Friday. Even Dir and sr Dir are human you guys.
Our SD's have had couple of connects last week with the team. You could figure out however that they too don't have the complete picture.
The dirs I'm under have had an open door policy and given as much info as policy lets them.
The ones on PTO or not answering Slack should be the first out. Sc-m.
We ask for nothing, and receive it in abundance
No checkins or morale boosting on my team either in Global Tech. "you can't do anything about it so who cares"
Mine on PTO, this place is a dumpster fire.
My director has been very communicative.
@nib+1r9o2haj There's a good chance they were told to take PTO and didn't have a choice.
@nsp Ok, that made me laugh, thank you! 😂😂
Mine is not on PTO, he just doesn’t give a fu-k.
What was once a pinnacle of American innovation and commercial sucess has been reduced to a zombie ant farm.
Mines on PTO
lol this place su-ks
Same, my leaders have reached out to my teams and told them what they knew and said their doors were open if anyone wanted to talk.
It's not much but it's more than some places would do.
I have to say our director has been having daily meetings to check up on us
