Heard that unlike our PTO, we won’t get paid for the floating holiday if we are laid off. Use it and log off from work for a day if you would like.

I used mine last month !
If you’re in California legally they have to pay it out.
Also if your leadership gave you off the books PTO use it as that promise won’t be there if you or they get let go
