Yes it was marketpoint mostly sales middle management some directors and marketing community outreach and veteran outreach within the sales side. My whole state was affected and I am a career sales agent
SMSEs (sales and marketing support executive) in marketpoint were all impacted.
Check your facts. Humana and Careplus were affected. All regions.

It’s RIF (reduction in forces) not Rift. I’m in marketing and haven’t heard of any layoffs. Which marketing departments are you talking about?

The new leadership seems fine with being just like every other plan and letting external agencies write Humana. All the people who created Market Point are now all gone. There is not anyone to defend the career channel going forward. There is a series of cost savings with each cut. Many of Humana's top career agents were pushed to "retire" or sell through the MP agency. This allows them to sell Aetna, United, Wellcare, etc. which further erodes Humana enrollments in areas where the HUM plan is not as competitive. It makes for an interesting summer. Wow, so sorry. Not sure how we are supposed to gain new members without sales and marketing! Never forget what happened after the riff in the fall when they laid off all of those career sales agents. Totally tanked our AEP. Is this new CEO trying to run the company in the ground already?
