Anyone get cut from Real-estate, facilities and workplace? They are a large support function at Nike with many Directors, SR Directors and VP types. I worked closely with that group when I was in finance before retiring 5 years ago.

Most of the functions were outsourced years ago. The limited black badge staff left are DEI or grossly underpaid folks who lack any real corp. real estate skills or experience.
With all due respect, why do we have so many VPs to oversee facilities? Surely, Director or Senior Dir level should be well-equipped to run our real estate ops.
WD+C is in one of the most bloated groups in the entire company. They gave us “freestyle” - corporates response to cost reductions - disguised as innovation and collaboration. And the $3B campus expansion that has sat partially occupied since opening. Shrines to athletes and the egotistical whq leadership that sponsored this gross over spend.
