Here is an example of how Office politics work inside Citi.
When a new project starts the management assigns to their favorites and some consultants. The "Favorite" claims he/she does architecture and the work is completed / initiated with their signature. They claim the benefits of completing the project.
Once the drama is over, the "Bloated project" is assigned to the rest of the team to fix.
The project gets so bloated that we have to do a complete rework on the code.
This is happening with all favorites, consultants and DEI employees.
