I just don't get it. With all the lay offs and the committment to diversity within the company, why aren't they investing to protect their own before outreaching externally?!
What do diversity hires contribute to the bottom line? Do they actually produce a product or provide a service?
On one hand is diversity programs, on the other hand is nationalistic donations to praise America. All in all a bunch of lip service donations to appease one side or the other, because that money sure isn't going to income inequity, higher wages, more jobs, pensions, less expensive deductibles, more coverage of conditions, or lower prices.
All these execs have to do is shake the jar full of black and red ants to get them to fight, and they don't have to worry about them coming after them.
I'm all for supporting diversity programs, what I'm not for is members going without healthy foods, preventative testing, and other basic needs because they can't afford them with all the cuts in benefits this year... don't be a stupid head...
While services are being denied to sick people. Nice.

Yall really do not understand how budgets work. This money has probably been earmarked for years. Giving back to your community is one of about the only good things mega corporations.
