Who manages HR for your org or function? Is their calendar blocked out for the week of Monday 19th February (or beyond), along with their direct reports? Managing widespread layoffs requires total dedication - all other people management duties need to be placed on hold until it’s done.

Our HRs and their manager is all blocked from 2/19 to 2/23.
Marketing here. I checked my HRBP - they are fully booked 2/16 (yes this Friday), NOT 2/19
My HR is pregnant and a man, and his/her/blah calendar is completely booked....so do with that what you will

I checked a number of HRBP calendars and all were blocked on 2/19 most also blocked 2/20. My HRBP has no kids.
My HR rep doesn't have kids.
Not everyone has kids. My HRBP does not.

People, school is closed on the 19th and the 20th.
People have 2/19 blocked because it’s Presidents’ Day and it’s a no-school day too. My schedule is blocked and I’m nobody.
How do you get the name of your team’s HR rep?

I’m still trying to figure out what our HRBP does. They’re useless. Just ax them all, they do nothing to help the people or organization.

@kes....brother you nailed it with "...my useless HRBP..." so true....these guys did absolutely nothing....never had anything constructive to offer in any meeting.....matter of fact they were very poor communicators
Mine has 2/19 totally blocked.
My useless HRBP just shows OOO and then has portions of the calendar blocked. Their boss (Sr. Director) has the entire thing blocked for weeks. Here is hoping HRBP is on the chopping block along with my director.
