Did anyone else here about the CM3's having to basically do door to door access sales? My CM3 told me they have to pester ever single prof that tought in summer last year with materials not in access about getting their materials into the program this year for IA stores. They were even given a list of people they have to email abot this at all of their campuses. Desperate times, right?

Definitely not a joke. We have to do a mail merge so it's a mass mailing to all of these professors, then follow up weekly with everyone that doesn't answer. Being a CM3 means doing the job of 8 people. Since we work from home they just pile it on because they can't physically see us working from 7 am until midnight just to keep up with the work load so we must be doing fine. Maybe the idea is to keep us so busy we don't have time to look for another job. That is, until they randomly drop the hammer again and chop more of us off. Trust me when I say, I heavily regret accepting the job and wish I had more than a few days to decide on it. No one could have known how much work they were going to keep dumping on us. Just when you think it can't get any worse...
Not a CM3...is this a joke? When is there enough time in a 24 hour day to get everything completed? Is the job requirement to work more than 24 hours a day? At what point will the instructors report harassment for being all the nagging that is going to happen?
CM3 here. Yes, we get to add cold-calling Access sales to our ever-growing list of Access things we have to do, as well as maintain an incredibly detailed live spreadsheet that is being monitored by the higher-ups to make sure we're actually doing it. If only we had an Access team to do Access-related things. That would be very helpful. They tried to make it seem less terrible by saying we can win prizes by getting the most conversions. Reminds me of an old telemarketing job I had in high school. Absolutely ridiculous.
