It's a no brainer that bonus payout will be much lower than target. Unlike other companies, bonus amount paid to an Truist employee is decided by the manager from a pool amount for their team. So two employee with same rating can get diff percent bonus depending on which team they below to or how is their relation with manager .
Managers have received the bonus pool , hikes and rating.
Any one here wants to share how is it looking?

because RIFs cannot be (officially) based on performance, and impacted teammates wont receive a review, the decision was made to give the bonus (subject to the changes detailed in this thread) as a part of severance. If you are in an eligible pay grade and were RIF'd you will get the AIP bonus (corp. portion only) in the severance payment. This came from HR.

Keep in mind that eligibility doesn’t guarantee a payout. If rated ineffective, you will not receive a payout.

to help clarify, if you were rif'd as a bonus eligible teammate here is how that will be treated:

  • AIP will still pay out (as long as you met all eligibility last year), but only the corporate portion of the weighted equation. You dont get the personal performance side. The corporate element has been communicated @70% funding rate this year. To determine your bonus payout: base salary * Target % for your pay grade * 50%(represents the weighting between corp & personal performance) * 70%.
  • LTI pays out only if you are still on payroll; I have asked, but havent yet seen any guidance for those who have been rif'd but will be in their notice period during the LTI window

If you are still on the payroll 2/29 good chance you will be around at least another 6 to 12 months. You have to be on the payroll to get the RSU’s. All route will be done before that date.

I was told as an AVP I will still be getting a bonus. It just won’t be well
funded. Despite what people here may say AVP life is good, bro.

If you look at the way the get the payout if the teller have an outage of more than 25$ you lose 25% for the branch and then signature cards etc we won’t be getting any bonus. They changed this around so we wouldn’t be able to achieve a bonus.

"Har har no bonus for you uh-hyuck" aside, the AIP (bonus) payout date is 3/15. You'll find confirmation of this on the Source if you search for information about the AIP.

Probably they will tell before the first week of March ends and payout before 15th, if at all they pay. I will be surprized if we get paid more than 50-60% of the due amount
