Does anyone know if people who were laid off after 10/1 are eligible for their bonus still? I got a non-answer from colleague relations.

“Don't listen to these know nothings. Read page 8 of your separation guide.....
"If you are a bonus-eligible colleague prior to your separation date and terminate on or after October 1, 2023 with eligibility to receive severance pay, you will be eligible, in accordance with the bonus plan provisions, to receive a prorated incentive award for the 2023 plan year. As applicable, this payment will be made to you at time of general payout in the first quarter of 2024."”
That’s in the separation guide, but the actual severance agreement that you sign specifically says “Following the Employment Termination date, Employee shall be entitled to no other wages, salary, vacation pay, PTO, bonuses, incentive awards…”
It also says “Employee acknowledges that an award is not guaranteed.”
Summary: Don’t hold your breath.
what is the bonus like? I mean how much will we get?

Call hr. I do not believe you are eligible for a bonus
No. You will not receive a bonus
@1cdx+1qxe26fQ I thought that was just for people who voluntarily left, not laid off workers?
Yes, we still get the bonus. It is spelled out in the severance package paperwork.
If someone was told they would then maybe. Per policy if you’re not with the company at the time the bonus is paid out you don’t receive it.
I was laid off in December. Was advised at that time I would still receive my bonus.
