The wave 2 RTO letters are coming out at the end of January. This is where you will be asked to decide if you are relocating and will be told when you are expected to be in your new location by.

“We work better when we’re together in office”

Mgmt.

Reality is they are not together. Webphone shows me that teams are spread all over the country. I hate it that they’re making people move. I don’t like it but someday in due time we should be together in the same room. We still have VP’s not in a hub with the AVP. I guess only the little guys work better together.

If you do get a letter, do some math before you make a choice. If the letter says "you have until 2025" to relocate, depending on your years of service, it might very well be better to say yes, not move, then get fired in Jan 2025 (10 months of pay vs x months of severance)

And that way you can also scr*w them like they tried to scr#w you.

It was originally supposed to be a march wave, they moved it up to Jan/Feb - probably after seeing how many people completely ignored the first wave and basically volunteered themselves to be put on the naughty list.

If you havent started living your designation, you will wanna do that soon.

"us who are the future since smart enough to work in the power centers"

Yet apparently not smart enough to know which pronoun to use.

Everyone you are talking about once worked in a "power center." Your time will come, if you last that long. Which I doubt.

Some people are saying things are ‘sped-up’ what does that mean exactly?
I’m hearing letters go out 1/26 but if people just say they will move, how long do they have?

I have decided to move to the ATL.

The person that said all Atlanta backfills are in Dallas is not correct. It’s per work group and level bases. L1 and L2 manager backfills can and have been happening in Atlanta. L3 and higher are Dallas.

That does mean that you have no future in Atlanta if you stay here and want to progress in the company. Atlanta isn’t going away in a year though. When it does it’ll take longer than that. Inevitable obviously but not anytime soon.

Texas sends buses full of migrants to Chicago. Now T wants Chicago employees to fill these buses on their way back to Texas. Great logistics.

If you get told to go to Atlanta - don’t. Rumor is Atlanta is also going to get shut down in another year or two. All jobs are going to Dallas. All the backfills of people in Atlanta are going to Dallas. Tells you all you need to know. Watch what they are doing, not what they are saying.

Sounds like waive 2 process was speed up. They want to calculate how many more to lay off this year to meet the stinky goal. So this is just the beginning. Remember, you are just a number for this evil enterprise.

They want you to make decision if you want to relocate asap, but no word if there is a work at new location for you. What is the budget for this year and what projects are funded for my team. Nobody can answer that.

I feel sorry for the people impacted. The stress must crush morale and mental health. My hub is exempt but watching this fiasco reinforces how inept managers are and none go to bat for employees. Most duck questions and feign ignorance about what they know. I’m sure in a year our hub will shrink due to economic pressure and rising real estate costs. Two teams in another hub were notified yesterday that a layoff is coming. One lady relocated to it just before Thanksgiving and is now worried that shell get fired and be forced to pay back the 10 how she got to move.

Letters are coming for Legg. Strap in it’s going to be rough.

We were told Legg org letters coming out late Jan or early Feb for wave 2. Didn't hear when decision and/or relocation would be due.

However, another person who will be affected told me they were asked by AVP some time back about whether they planned to be in a hub in 2025 for some kind of staffing purpose.

I’m getting the same info about relocation letters coming out at end of January, but I’m also hearing that you have until 2025 to relocate if you say you will…
This much time changes the dynamic quite a bit, are you all hearing the same thing?

  • “Spoke with a Director friend, he told

Me his employees will receive letter end of January and will need to relocate by June 1.”

Guess it’s time to lie and start looking for another job.
