Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

February 15th

I am one of the many that will be gone on February 15th. Some of the brightest, hardest working people will be gone simply because they chose not to move to Lincoln , Berkley Heights, or one of the other designated Centers.

If you are a client and you think it is bad now, just wait until February 16th!

Every time one of these mass RIF dates come around we hear the same thing "you think it's bad now just wait." How many have they done in the past few years and how many are yet to come and somehow Fiserv is still standing, I'm not sure how many more before the straw that breaks the camels back though

There are no words for how horrible this all is for the clients. It’s going to be a nightmare. The best of best being forced out is almost unthinkable. These smart and dedicated people should be valued not thrown out after many years of service because they have a life based in another location and can not just pick up and leave. Remote workers are essential employees and deserve better. They were remote prior to covid and that should be honored. It’s going to be another massive drop in service for the clients. It’s all a true shame that a company is paying more for people that have no experience because they can sit in a seat rather than keeping the critical employees that can’t afford to move or unable to.

I don't understand why they are bringing back the account manager position when there will not be enough support people left to assist clients. When there sre only two SMEs for a product in client support and they let one go because he won't move to a COE, then the other employee left along with customers are SOOL!!!!!

I heard a stat the other day about open cases. Without this knowledge those cases will sit. Client services upper mgmt should be held accountable but they never are… it’s always pushed for the account managers to take the brunt of client frustration. Sickening to say the least.

2024 said hold my beer to 2023 on the sh*tshow level.

I’m reality, it’s just the start of the snowball of effect because clients are locked in 5 - 7 year contracts. Sometime, in a near future maybe 2026/2027 we will start burning furniture to keep the lights on.

Soo many great people continue to be let go. I’m on the list myself, just waiting for the meeting invite with my final date. These next 2 layoffs are really going to hurt.

This wave is going to hurt. But this is just a preview for what our clients are going to be feeling later this year.

It will not improve.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I wish you nothing but the best after how this company has treated you! Never thought the value of an employee would be reduced to where you sit! YOU will be missed! Thank you for your contributions. This company doesn't know what's about to hit them, but there are many of us that do. We know how awful it's going to be. Good Luck!

Yes, that day is going to su-k! So many incredible, smart, loyal friends and coworkers walking out the door. Incredibly sad what this place is doing to those leaving and those remaining....not to mention the customers and the company itself....
