Our team was all remote prior to Covid or the merger. We haven’t been in an office in almost 15 years.

Before the pandemic Fiserv had many small offices. Those offices have been closed down. Instead of being separated in multiple buildings in multiple locations across the country, Fiserv is requiring all associates to work in a select few buildings.

Before the pandemic Fiserv had cubicles. Little rooms with walls that help absorb sound. Now Fiserv has tables which reflect sound and nothing gets absorbed. Also, Fiserv didn't bother counting the number of seating locations (or parking spots) before requiring a certain number of employees to be in one building. This makes employees sit much closer together than they did before. A microphone may only pick up a voice that is within a few feet of it, but now multiple people are within range.

Honest Answer: Fiserv was configured as a functioning company prior to the pandemic. That is what has changed.

Easy answer. I always performed as well as I could up front so I could negotiate wfh, or at least the ability to move to a quieter part of the office and work hours more amenable to my biological clock. (I prefer to start later and work later and do my best work thay way) I was mostly wfh for about a year before the pandemic, and fully wfh about 3 months before the pandemic.

Your job is a business deal. If you set the scenario up right, you can often provide leverage to negotiate a better situation for yourself.

All we can hope for at the moment is that FB is removed. The board won't do it so it has to be a stroke or accident at this point.

Agree with @kmt+1qunKzxI give it up man. We get venting but remote work is dead at FIserv.

We’ve beaten this dead horse. It’s all about tax breaks everyone. I don’t know how many different ways we can say it.

Most people don’t want to be in the office, especially not four days a week.

This was proven during the pandemic at Fiserv. Production increased due to the flexibility and no commutes. So much for the lies about being a flexible company
